Together We Stand
The Balkan Call is a movement of believers, ministries, and local churches working together across the Balkans to call on the Lord, stand in repentance, and worship and pray for our region in unity. To enable this to happen there are people and teams all across the nations moving in this common vision. We are a community.
Relationships Matter
We prioritize relationships because God prioritizes relationships. He has called us to live as family and as neighbors who love and serve each other. That doesn’t happen by accident – we make an effort to grow in community and friendship with others as we pursue God together.
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:12-15)
Reconciliation through Jesus
Where the Balkans are known for division, we see fertile ground for forgiveness and grace. We face the reality of tragedies and atrocities between nations with a humble spirit and willing heart to forgive others just as our gracious God has forgiven us countless times before.
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
